Oakham United FC is to stage its inaugural Easter Egg Hunt with the promise of 500 eggs up for grabs for chocolate-mad hunters.

And in true Willy Wonka-style - there are five golden eggs to be found which will win the finders some top prizes.

The family fun takes place on Sunday, April 21, from 2pm to 4pm. Costing £3 per child, there are also competitions to decorate an egg, an easter-themed cake stall and a prize-winning tombola.

The 'eggsellent' event all takes place at Oakham United FC on Main Road, Barleythorpe, LE15 7EE.
