Overnight roadworks in Uppingham were finished a day early, the county council has confirmed.
London Road was closed overnight in two phases for the works earlier this month.
The first phase of works saw the road surface ripped up and replaced between Spring Back Way and High Street West.
The second phase, saw the surface from High Street West to North Street West replaced.
Rutland County Council confirmed the project was completed ahead of schedule.
"London Road in Uppingham has been resurfaced, and the work finished a day ahead of schedule," the local authority said.
"We worked overnight to keep disruption to a minimum for residents and businesses.
"The old surface has been removed, a new one laid and the road markings put back.
"We're now halfway through this year's highways programme, and on track to resurface around 8km of Rutland's roads by the end of 2026/27."
