Police offer chance to reclaim seized vehicle

RUTLAND Police have give a rogue rider the chance to claim a seized quad bike bak.
A statement from the force says: "A local farmer alerted response officers to some males on quad bikes causing damage in one of his fields on Sunday evening (3 May).
"On seeing police, the rogue bikers opted for a swift getaway but one of them was a bit too slow to react and had to abandon his machine as officers quickly caught up to it.
"The rascal managed to get away on the back of his friend's machine but we have his quad for safe keeping.
"If this was you, please come to the front desk at Melton to speak to us about getting it back."
