A festive pop up shopping event is being held at Ruth Hudson's art studio in Ketton next month.

Several local makers and independent businesses have got together and promise a unique shopping experience at Unit 19, Chater Business Park on Pit Lane.

Organiser Ruth Hudson told Nub News: "Almost all makers fairs have been cancelled this year and for many small businesses the Christmas markets are the best times to sell and show their products hence why they are putting on this pop up to keep their businesses going and to encourage people to shop small."

As well as original artwork, there will be clothes, home interior products, textiles, lampshades, candles, cosmetics and ceramics.

Rutland and Stamford coffee shop Scandimania will also be there selling hot drinks and their delicious cinnamon buns.

A full Covid 19 risk assessment has been completed and all relevant safety measures will be in place.

Further details can be found in the event's Facebook event page or via @rhprints Instagram.

The pop up runs on Saturday November 7 from 10am to 3pm and on Sunday November 8 from 11.30am to 4.30pm.
