Members of the public are invited to Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust's Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.
The Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides community health, mental health and learning disabilities services for the one million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We have a budget in excess of £326 million and employ approximately 6,500 staff.
The group's upcoming AGM will take place on Monday 11 September between 4pm and 5.30pm virtually on Microsoft Teams.
The event will provide an opportunity for NHS staff, volunteers, members and the wider public to hear about the Trust's highlights and achievements from the last year.
Organisers will also share more about how their charity, Raising Health, has helped the team go 'above and beyond' for their patients, service users and colleagues.
Angela Hillery, chief executive, said: "We encourage people to attend our AGM to find out first-hand how we have been planning and delivering our community and mental health services to meet the needs of our population, highlights of achievements and how we have been delivering our financial responsibilities.
"We will present our 2022/23 annual report and outline our progress against our vision – creating high quality, compassionate care and wellbeing for all – and our organisational strategy - Step up to Great.
"We will be finishing the meeting with a questions and answers session and although you do not have to attend the meeting to submit a question to our Trust Board, we look forward to welcoming everyone."
Visit the NHS website to find out more, including the agenda for the event, a form to submit your question to Trust Board and a link to join AGM.
The page also links to their Annual Report and Summary Annual Report which will be presented at the event.
