Rutland County Council has shared the opening times and dates for the local Household Waste Recycling Centres over Christmas and New Year.  

Both Cottesmore and North Luffenham Recycling Centres are affected by Christmas closures, leading to some confusion amongst residents. 

The opening hours are as follows: 

Cottesmore Household Waste and Recycling Centre will be open as normal except: 24th to 26th December and 31st December to 1st January.

North Luffenham Household Waste and Recycling Centre will be open as normal except it will close at 3pm on 24th and 31st December and be closed all day on 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
