The Rutland Festival of Remembrance will take place at St George's Barracks in North Luffenham on Friday, November 10.
The evening of music and reflection celebrates all who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces, and is hosted by His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Rutland, Dr Sarah Furness.
Beginning with drinks and canapes at 6.30pm, this will be followed by a music concert and other performances from pupils at all of Rutland's secondary schools.
In addition, The Cottesmore Military Wives Choir, The LNR ACF Corps of Drums, The Rutland Ladies Choir and Uppingham School Pipe Band will also perform.
Dr Furness said: "We have all sorts of events going on to mark Remembrance weekend, but these start with the festival at St Georges Barracks on Friday, November 10.
"This is a wonderful way for the people of Rutland to remember the sacrifices that have been made in the past, so that we may enjoy our present way of life.
"There is also the fact that because St Georges Barracks is soon to close, this may be the last opportunity for those who have not seen inside, to come along and see 'behind the wire'; so I do urge people to come along."
Tickets cost £25 and are available now, with all proceeds from the event going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
People are asked to purchase tickets in advance because the Barracks will need names and car registration details for security purposes.
Tickets can be purchased from: [email protected] or by calling: 01572 755368 with further details on the Lord Lieutenants' website: https://rutlandlordlieutenant.org/remembrance-day-event-booking-form/
