Rutland Food and Drink Festival to take place at Victoria Hall, Oakham Castle and Marketplace

Rutland Food and Drink Festival will take place in Oakham on Sunday 21st September between 11am and 4pm.
The Festival will take place at Oakham Castle, Marketplace and Victoria Hall with live music, pet competitions and over 50 brilliant local stalls.

The festival is taking place as part of a wider celebration of Rutland Food and Drink Week, celebrating local artisan goods, craftsmanship and produce.
Rutland Food and Drink Week is running between 20 and 28 September with a week-long festival celebrating the county's vibrant food and drink scene.
Rutland, know as the 'county of good taste' has a reputation for culinary excellence, which will be showcased through a selection of activities, tastings and special events.

Some of the highlights of the Rutland Food and Drink Festival will include: food and drink tastings with exclusive menus and tasting experiences from local restaurants, cafes and food stalls, and tasting experiences from local restaurants, cafes and food stalls; special offers from local restaurants, vineyards or a special afternoon tea on the Nene Valley Railway; a Farmers' Market and Artisan Stalls with the region's top farmers' markets with local growers showcasing seasonal produce and homemade treats.
The Food and Drink Week is being put together with the hard work of Discover Rutland, with local event organiser Carolyn Acton organising the Food and Drink Festival on 21st September.
