MP for Rutland and Stamford Alicia Kearns is hosting her first Job and Careers Fair for young people, students, job seekers and anyone looking to start a new career to connect with local employers and training providers.

The Job and Careers Fair will take place on Friday 23 January from 10am to 2pm at the Stamford Arts Centre, 27 St Mary's Street, Stamford.

The event will bring together a wide array of employers, training providers and employment support services to showcase the board selection of options available in Stamford and Rutland for young people and adults locally.

Speaking about the inaugural Jobs and Careers Fair, Kearns said: 'Very few people realise just what varied and exciting job opportunities are on our doorsteps.

'Whether you are taking your first step on the career ladder or looking for a new direction, this is a chance to showcase the very diverse and wonderful job and apprenticeship opportunities on offer in our local economy.'
