Rutland parents and parents-to-be invited to join Festival of Learning

A Leicestershire and Rutland-based organisation is getting ready to host a series of workshops for parents and parents-to-be this week as the team launch their Festival of Learning: Safeguarding Bumps and Babies.

This is the second time that the Safeguarding Children Partnerships have run a Festival of Learning. The idea is to look at all the services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) that form part of or join with the children's workforce to safeguard local children and families.

Therefore, anyone who works with children and families across Leicester, Leicestershire or Rutland is welcome to join any session that they think will support their practice.

This year the Festival of Learning will focus on Safeguarding Bumps and Babies. This is to look at learning around the Safeguarding Children Partnerships of LLR Priority:

 In person courses will take place at Leicester City Hall.

A spokesperson for the Festival of Learning team said: "Please take time to look at the sessions on offer and to book onto those relevant and useful to you. If you book onto the session, please attend, as spaces are limited, and we would like to share learning opportunities with as many people as possible."
