Following a successful first-time event at Oakham Castle in October 2022, the Rutland Pet Show is back this weekend.

The Rutland Pet Show, which took place in the grounds of Oakham Castle in early October 2022, saw over 100 pets competing for titles such as 'waggiest tail' and 'best trick'.

The event was organised by Carolyn Acton-Reed and saw cats, dogs, rabbits, and even a ferret in attendance, brought by proud owners of all ages.

There were also local producers and stall holders in attendance, selling human and pet food, accessories, goodies, and much more.

The event will be returning this Sunday, 8 October, and the team are excited to welcome you and your furry, fluffy and feathered friends back to Oakham Castle grounds, the Great Hall and Oakham Market Place.
