Rutland Police warn of fake Royal Mail emails in county

Rutland Police has warned of fake emails that claim to come from the Royal Mail.

They have posted on twitter: "We have reports of this in #Ashwell please be mindful and for any advice please view #ActionFraud thanks."

The post follows them retweeting a warning from Action Fraud, which said; "Watch out for these FAKE Royal Mail emails. They've been reported to us over 1,700 times.

"We followed the link in one of the emails and here's where it leads..."

Action Fraud added: "Help us remove malicious emails and websites like these by forwarding suspicious emails to: [email protected]
