Staff at a Rutland pub plan to walk or cycle 1000km during the second lockdown to help fellow hospitality employees.

The team at the Olive Branch in Clipsham aim to raise £2000 for the charity Hospitality Action.

A Just Giving page has been created and more than £500 has been raised so far.

The staff commented: "During lockdown we'll be running, cycling or walking to achieve a team target of 1000 kilometres. We have all set our own individuals targets and we'll be posting on instagram and The Olive Branch website to keep you updated with our progress.

"We'll be raising money for Hospitality Action who support chefs, waiters and waitresses who have been less fortunate than us and are suffering through these difficult times."
