Rutland pub named in UK top 100 gastropubs list

The Olive Branch at Clipsham, Oakham, has been named as one of the top 100 gastropubs in the Estrella Damm awards this month.
Top prize was snapped up by the Parker's Arms in Clitheroe, while The Olive Branch came in as number 60.
Top 50 Gastropubs was conceived in 2009 with the purpose of recognising the hardworking individuals in the gastropubs industry.
The list aims to be a go-to source for the best pubs to dine at in the UK and is created by collecting votes from more than 100 industry professionals.
The pub has an array of accolades, having been recognised in a range of awards and capacities:
- Good Pub Guide Pub of the Year 2021
- Top 50 Gastropubs Award 2020
- Good Hotel Guide Editors Choice 2019
On top of this, The Olive Branch was a Michelin Star Pub from 2002 till 2012.
They have also been recognised in the 46th edition of The Good Hotel Guide.
Throughout the year they also host a range of events, one of which is their anticipated Bread Masterclass.
