A local care at home provider is offering Friendship Lunches to the residents of Rutland and the surrounding areas.

The welcoming lunch, quiz and raffle, will be hosted with The Old Buttercross on Oakham's Panniers Way.

Since launching in 2018 Home Instead Friendship Lunches have offered companionship for many individuals who may otherwise experience loneliness and social isolation.

The next Home Instead Friendship Lunch will be held on 26 February and then on the fourth Monday of each month from 12-2.30pm at The Old Buttercross, just off the A606 bypass - which benefits from being fully accessible.
