Rutland road closures and roadworks for the next seven days

The list details scheduled works - additional urgent roadworks may be necessary, for example if there is a power cut, burst water main or a gas leak.

Road closures

- Stretton Road lay-by, Greetham - ongoing work being carried out by Rutland County Council and expected to be in place until late November

- North Luffenham Road, Morcott - ongoing work by Rutland County Council and due to remain in place until mid-November

- Newstead Road - Anglian water starting work on Monday (7 Aug) and scheduled to be completed on Friday (11 Sept)

Roadworks with temporary signals

- Morcott Road, Wing - work being undertaken by Severn Trent Water which started today (Fri) and is due to finish on Monday (7 Sept)

- Oakham Road, Manton - Rutland County Council for one day on Monday (7 Sept)

- Melton Road, Langham - work being undertaken by Western Power starting on Monday (7 Sept) until Friday (11 Sept)

- Oakham Road, Ashwell - work by Severn Trent Water which starts on Tuesday (8 Sept) and scheduled to end on Friday (11 Sept)

- Station Road, Wing - work being undertaken by Severn Trent Water starting on Wednesday (9 Sept) and due to be completed on Friday (11 Sept)

Roadworks

Melton Road, Langham - one day works by Rutland County Council on Thursday (10 Sept)

Rutland County Council temporary traffic measures

- Mill Street, Oakham - one-way system, with vehicles travelling from north to south, until early February, 2021

- Market Place, Oakham - one-way system, access via Market Street only, until early February, 2021 - lifted on Wednesday and Saturday
