Rutland Showground is to stage weekly car boot sales from later this month.

The events will run every Saturday from 11am, with the first sale on Saturday April 17.

Organisers promise the outdoor event will be large and friendly.

Stallholders tare to set up from 9am. From only £8.

The public gate opens at 11am. £1 adults - U16s free.

The event comes as the Rutland Showground, sited just off the A606 Oakham bypass is also gearing up for its first ever Food and Farming Festival, which due to pandemic-related restrictions, is being held instead of the annual Rutland Show.
