Rutland Sinfonia has announced its scheduled dates for 2024.

The Rutland Sinfonia is an amateur orchestra based in Oakham, and the group have been performing across Rutland and the surrounding areas for over 45 years, delighting their audiences young and old.

The musical organisation was founded by Barry Collett, their 'Conductor Emeritus', and the group continue his legacy, bringing high quality, enjoyable and inspiring performances of orchestral music to smaller towns and villages in rural areas in and around Rutland.

The Sinfonia presents imaginative programmes of music for medium to large orchestra, with popular classical works, lesser known pieces, solo works and music from the Movies and Musicals.

They give four concerts each season and, in recent years, have performed in Oakham Chapel in Oakham and St Peter's Church, Oundle.

The group has released the four concert dates for the 2024/25 season, and will be returning to Oakham and Oundle for all of them:
