The King's Arms in Wing is finally back open for business after a two-year campaign to save the village's pub.
Under new publicans Ali and Charlotte, The King's Arms welcomed villagers at the pub's official reopening on 16 October, with the High Sheriff of Rutland cutting the ribbon.
Earlier in the evening, locals gathers outside Wing Village Hall to witness the take down of the 'Save Our Pub' campaign, which has been up since December 2024, when the King's Arm closed.
In the two years since the pub was last operational, the community held regular pop-up pubs at the Village Hall to give residents the regular opportunity to connect with the community while they waited for the pub to reopen.
The official opening of the pub bought residents, locals and supporters out to celebrate the occasion, enjoying gathering round the bar once again.
