Rutland Water has once again been awarded a Green Flag Award, internationally recognising a high standard of well-managed green parks and outdoor spaces.

The team at Rutland Water was presented with the flag, saying: 'As we are celebrating 50 years of Rutland Water, this is a fantastic testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of the staff and volunteers who care for our park, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard for visitors to enjoy and we are extremely proud to now have received 15 awards.'

The Green Flag is a sign to visitors that Rutland Water is a welcoming, safe and well-maintained space and denotes a high standard of green space.

Rutland Water is currently celebrating it's 50th Birthday, making this a special year for everyone at Rutland Water and Rutland Nature Reserve.
