After last year's success, The Rutland Big Christmas Market is back for 2025.

Kicking off the festive season, the Big Christmas Market will take place Friday 15th to Sunday 17th November at their new venue, The Barnsdale in Oakham.

With the new venue offering even more space, this event will be packed full with over 90 stalls celebrating local businesses and charities. Visitors are invited to explore the dazzling selection of handcrafted gifts, delicious food and festive treats from local small businesses showcasing Rutland's finest festivity.

There will also be entertainment across the three days, including dance performances from Emily Redding Dance Academy, Jazettes and Wildcats, as well as a special visit from the Big Man himself – Father Christmas!

Between 10am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, Father Christmas will be taking a break from toy making to say hello. Meeting Santa is free but visitors are invited to donate to the Lions Club of Rutland to spread some Christmas cheer.

Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for children and under 5's go free.

The event will be at The Barnsdale in Oakham at the following times:

  • Friday 15th November: 4pm – 8pm
  • Saturday 16th November: 9.30am - 4pm
  • Sunday 17th November: 9.30 am – 4pm
