The crew who have been running The Noel @ Whitwell since November will be taking on a new local pub in July - only 1.5 miles up the road from their current pub.

The family team are moving from The Noel to The White Horse in Empingham, and will be taking the ever-changing menu, passion for their work and wonderful service with them.

The father and son duo, Ian and Sam White, have worked across the region in pubs and kitchens, and have dragged The Noel up by its boot straps, offering a host of new meal deals, from steak night, to Sunday roasts, to a senior citizens lunch every Tuesday.

They now hope to do the same to Empingham's The White Horse.

The pair are working in partnership with White Hospitality Group, a Hospitality Management company offering full and part management and consultancy services to hotels, restaurants and pubs across the uk and beyond.

Ian is the Director, with over 40 years' experience in the industry, while Sam at 22 is the Head Chef, having trained at the College of East Anglia in 2016.

They announced the news this week: "We are taking over at the White Horse in Empingham hoping to open in the first week of July

"We will be continuing the style of food we have been offering at the Noel.

"We would like to thank everyone for their support over the last 8 months and look forward to welcoming you all to the White Horse in Empingham when it reopens in July."

They will be reopening the White Horse on 18 June, and are looking forward to welcoming customers new and old in their stylish new venue in Empingham.
