Half term at Rutland Farm Park: Halloween fun, guinea pig cuddles and brunch with the pigs

There's plenty to keep the whole family entertained this October half term with Rutland Farm Park. Put on your wellies, wrap up warm and get stuck into some of the brilliant activities Rutland Farm Park has on offer. 

Daily Activities on the Farm (Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 5pm) 

Whether you prefer cuddling the fluffy guinea pigs, feeding the goats or petting the ponies, there's something for everyone. As well as the chance to feed and meet the farm animals, there is a whole itinerary of activities happening daily this half term. 

11.00 - Brunch for Penny and Jane the Oxford Sandy and Black Pigs 

11.30 - Guinea Pig Cuddles 

12.15 - Meet and Feed the Cows 

12.45 - Meet the African Land Snails 

14.00 - Guinea Pig Cuddles 

14.30 - Meet the African Land Snails 

There is also a cosy team room to warm up after exploring the farm. Daphne's Team Room offers a selection of hot drinks, light meals and sweet treats. There is also a selection of Children's Meals and a Farm Lunch Box option. 

Spooky Sunday 

On Sunday 27th October, Rutland Farm Park will hold it's Spoooooky Sunday Halloween Event. They invite visitors to dress up in their spookiest outfits to get a free bag of feed, as well as loads of Halloween activities. 

Activities include: face painting, hunt the witch, apple bobbing, a scavenger hunt, and more. 

Pumpkin Carving 

This half-term, Rutland Farm Park will be hosting a fun-filled Pumpkin Carving Event for adults and children. Get stuck in and spark your creativity to carve your own pumpkin design, suitable for all ages and abilities (children must be supervised by an adult).  

Pumpkin Carving Sessions are on Friday 18th and 25th at 11am and 2pm and costs £8 per pumpkin.
