Oakham business named as an English Veterans Award finalist

Grayson Lewis Financial Planning, based in Oakham, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2024 English Veterans Awards.

The award is open to all military veterans "that are doing great things in England, reservists that are going above and beyond and those companies that go the extra mile to support or recruit from our community".

The company's director, Nick Henbrey, served for seven years in the Royal Navy as a submariner before his career change to financial planning.

During his naval career, Nick completed two deployments with HMS Astute as well as a six-month deployment in a shore posting to Bahrain.

He then left the military in 2019 before setting up Grayson Lewis Financial Planning in 2023.

The Veterans Awards looks to recognise the achievements of military veterans who "are doing great things". The awards look to reward veterans in business, fitness, sport and the wider community.

Grayson Lewis Financial Planning has been shortlisted as one of three finalists in the "business of the year" category, with the awards night being held on 23 October 2024.
