The road is calling, and Hardwicke Circus is answering with the roar of drums, guitars, saxes and the stomp of boots on stage.

Hailing from the wild winds and whispering fells of Cumbria, these young upstarts have been turning heads and stealing hearts from Carlisle to Camden.

Now, they're ready to take on the country with there own UK December tour that promises to be a sonic journey through the heart of rock 'n' roll.

They're calling at The Star and Garter on Wednesday 18 December, bringing their distinctive brand to the area.

Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed singles The Colour in Everything & Walking on Broken Glass, their albums "The Borderland", "At Her Majesty's Pleasure" (recorded at 10 HMP prisons) & "Fly the Flag", Hardwicke Circus is a band that's breathing new life into the British music scene.

Their upcoming unplugged album, recorded live at The Pizza Express, Holborn in London is set to drop into the still waters of the indie music world on their own label Alternative Facts Records on 29th November on Vinyl & CD. These lads are proving there's more to their sound than just amplifiers and attitude. "Cumbria Pizza" is the soundtrack of northern nights – raw, real, and soaked in the sweat of a thousand gigs.

This isn't just another band trying to make it; this is a band on a mission, driving through the night with nothing but the sound of the road and the rhythm of the ride to keep them company.

Hardwicke Circus has been likened to some greats – Springsteen, Dylan, The Doors & The Clash – but they're carving out their own path, their own sound, a roaring mix of anthemic choruses and tales of life on the edge.

Joining them on this wild ride is the young and hungry band, Antics, whose blistering energy and punk ethos have earned them a place on the tour.

These boys are the fire to Hardwicke Circus' flame, the spark that lights the fuse, and together, they're set to ignite every stage from Kinross to Plymouth and back to Carlisle for the annual Big Christmas Gig
