Kristy and her husband Chris have owned the hotel since March 2018, and since then have completed a full renovation of the hotel's facilities. "We are open for people to just walk in and have lunch with us from Wednesday to Sunday as well as dinner six nights a week and coffee/drinks every day" 

"Although we've had the hotel for six years, a lot of local people are not aware that our Restaurant, Bar & Beer Garden are open to the general public – everyone is welcome to come in and dine with. In addition to this, we also have three large events spaces available for hire for weddings, corporate events and meetings."

One couple who celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary at the hotel said: "The food was wonderful, sirloin steaks were superb, sticky toffee pudding to die for. Attentive, but not intrusive, service and then a lovely surprise with our coffee. Will definitely be going back" 

As well as the stunning 17th century Restaurant & Bar, the Wisteria Hotel also has multiple event spaces available for hire for meetings, events and weddings – all of which can be catered for. It is a licenced wedding venue, with three separate rooms available for hire for wedding ceremonies.

About the events space, Kristy said: "We love to support the community as much as we can, for example we offer our space to the Rutland Amateur Theatre Society and several other community groups and charities, they can use our meeting & event space for free of charge" 

The hotel has also recently launched a 'Happy Hour' in the bar every Monday and Friday evening, which is open to local residents as well as guests from 5-7pm (two for one cocktails, buy one get one half price on draught beers & 10% off all other drinks).
