Still time to have a say on parking across Rutland

THE clock is ticking down but there is still time to have your say on Rutland's new parking strategy.
Rutland County Council is conducting the survey agead of proposed changes and says: "We're asking residents, businesses and visitors to share their views on our draft Parking Strategy for 2026 to 2028
"The strategy sets out how parking will be managed across Rutland to support our communities, local economy and road safety
"Consultation is open until Friday, 22 May.
"Tell us what you think and help shape future parking standards across the county."
The council adds the updated strategy sets out approach to parking that aims to improve safety, support local businesses and respond to changing travel habits.
It replaces the council's 2022 parking policy and has been developed using feedback gathered through the Future Rutland conversation, input from parish councils and county councillors, and review by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
