Support Rutland Hedgehog Rescue with fun-family fundraiser and dog show

On Saturday 13th September, Ferneley's Farm and Café are holding a special family fun day, raising funds to support Rutland's own hedgehog rescue.
Ferneley's Hedgehog Day will include a variety of activities, including dog shows and competitions, a tombola, handmade crafts and gifts, lucky dip, fun games and story corner.
There will also be a selection of hedgehog themed activity, giving local people the opportunity to learn hedgehog first aid, guess the name of the hedgehog, hedgehog games and the chance to design your own hedgehog friendly garden.

The event will be raising money for Prickleback Urchins Hedgehog Rescue, an entirely volunteer led and funded hedgehog rehabilitation charity that helps support Rutland's dwindling hedgehog population.
The charity is run entirely out of the home of Rachel and Jason in Rutland, working closely with local vets to provide care and rehabilitation to help injured or sick hedgehogs.
Prickleback Urchins are carrying out continued fundraising towards their £10,000 goal to build a new shed to create more space for their hedgehogs to recover. The building process is well-underway now but the charity still need donations to keep buying electrolytes, suitable food, medication and bedding for their hedgehogs.
If you can't make their fundraiser on 13th September, you can donate via their Go Fund Me.
