Tesco Oakham announces closure for Queen's funeral

On Monday the 19th of September, Oakham's Tesco supermarket will be closed to pay respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on Thursday the 8th of September 2022.

The store announced that they will be closing so that staff and shoppers can pay their respects to the late Queen as she is laid to rest at Westminster Abbey on Monday the 19th of September 2022, announced by King Charles III as a Bank Holiday.
