Global Birdfair is back at Rutland Showground this weekend.

The Global Birdfair is a an annual event that takes place at Rutland Showground which, in previous years, has raised an average of just under £100,000 for wildlife conservation.

The event provides the opportunity to join a community of nature lovers and birdwatchers from around the world as they gather to make a difference to Conserving Nature Worldwide.

Hundreds of stalls and exhibitors will be in attendance, from conservation organisations and wildlife enthusiasts to crafters and creatives.

There will also be food and drinks available to purchase on site.

The team also host an auction, with bidding taking place across the weekend until 3pm on Sunday 16 July.

There are a range of lots available, including day experiences, books, beers, original art work and more. All proceeds raised through this auction will go to wildlife conservation charities supporting animal and bird life across the globe.

Camping and glamping is also available on site, and Friday night will bring performances from live and local musicians to keep revellers entertained.

There is plenty of parking at the showground, although those arriving by car are advised to arrive in good time and the expect queues heading into the venue on the A606 bypass to the north of Oakham.

Join a community of nature lovers and birdwatchers from around the world on 14, 15 and 16 July 2023 to make the most of this globally recognised event. 

Tickets for the 2023 show cost between £15 and £40 and are still available on the Global Birdfair website.

The Global Birdfair will take place at Rutland Showground, Oakham, Rutland UK. LE15 7TW.
