Listener at Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafes in Oakham and Uppingham

The Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafes, which are funded through the NHS across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, are looking for someone flexible to fill in gaps in their rota and that can step in during increased absences during the school holidays.

The cafes aim to bridge the gap between individuals getting no support at home or getting clinical support, with empathetic listeners on hand to support visitors, signpost them to other organisations or activities, work on action plans and offer a welcoming and comforting place local people can turn to.

The two local mental health cafes this role covers are located at Pepper's A Safe Place in Oakham and Uppingham Town Hall.
