Budding artists have until Saturday March 20 to enter the Mayor's decorate an egg competition.

Oakham Town Council says all you need to do is:

1. Hard boil an egg

1. Decorate the egg using any method you like- stick, colour or paint, let your imagination go wild!

1. Take a photo of the completed masterpiece and send it to [email protected]

They added: "Please include the age of the entrant in the photo, entries will be judged in the age groups 4 and under, 5-7, 7-9 and 9 and over."

The 1st prize is £15 in Q.D vouchers and 2nd prize is £10 in Q.D vouchers for each age group!

The council added: "But don't let the kids have all the fun, show us your efforts too! "
