Hitchen's Barn

One review from this November said: 'This was our first meal at Hitchen's Barn but it will not be the last. The restaurant is located in a traditional barn-style building and furnished accordingly. 

'The staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional too. An excellent find.'

With just under 600 five-star reviews and 4.6 on average out of 5, The Angler is recognised for great food, friendly service and warm atmosphere and reasonable value.

A review from September this year said: 'Food and service was just amazing! 5 star! The staff were incredible, nothing was an issue, food top notch. 

'Plenty of beautiful, fresh, home-cooked food.' 

The Fox and Hounds 

The Fox and Hounds at Knossington is a homely country pub serving local produce. 

With an average score of 4.8 out of 5, they come highly rated for service, value for money, food and atmosphere.

Feedback from December this month said: 'Had supper with friends in the pub last night and really must say it was excellent. 

'Roaring fire on a cold night most welcome. Fantastic atmosphere with plenty of interesting locals and visitors from away. 

'Lovely choice of well-kept beers and menu quite simple but delicious pub foot and great value. Excellent friendly service.'
