A local business is relocating to Oakham's Dean's Street.

Hello Mind, a business run by Trauma and Anxiety Specialist Lisa Lord, has relocated to Oakham and is open for business to new and existing customers.

Lisa previously worked from Witham on the Hill, but business is booming, which encouraged her to relocate to her new studio, The Loft, where she will be providing EMT services.

EMT is short for Eye Movement Therapy, and treats mental health conditions that happen because of memories from traumatic events in your past.

Lisa explained: "So, this is me, Lisa. I run Hello Mind and have worked successfully with over 1500 individuals with trauma and anxiety.

"Due to growth I have moved my business Hello Mind to Oakham ~ Trauma and Anxiety Specialist. My new workspace which is now ready at The Loft, Clarion House, Dean's Street, where I run appointment only sessions to support those struggling with trauma and anxiety."

As well as running one-to-one sessions, Lisa also hosts free talks when requested, as she believes that "no one should have to suffer".

Do you have unwanted, unhelpful memories that give you that twist in your stomach or a twinge of sadness each time it pops up in your thoughts?

Are these memories causing unwanted, unhelpful emotions, holding you back in life?

Do you want to change that?

Lisa added: "EMT is quick change therapy which means you are not going round in circles, over and over and not getting anywhere fast, if at all.

"This is a non disclosure therapy so if you wish for privacy, you don't even have to tell me the details, so long as you can hold the memory for a short period of around 40 seconds for a few times, whilst I do the Eye Movement Therapy.

"I'm really working on people not having to suffer."

Lisa concluded: "It took me years to find a therapy without lots if talk and or meditation when I discovered IEMT and how it changed my life I trained in it, then became also a Hypnotherapist and studied psychotherapy and left my career in corporate.

"I've not looked back - and I look forward to settling in in Oakham as everyone has been very welcoming to me."
