Tree branch falls on car and blocks Oakham road today

A tree branch fell on a woman's car and closed Lands End Way in Oakham late this afternoon (Fri).

The woman was uninjured and was later taken home by Oakham Police's PC Joe Lloyd who had attended the incident.

Traffic was diverted while Rutland County Council and tree surgeons from George Walker Tree Care cleared the debris.
