Evening of Mediumship

If you're looking to get into the 'spirit' of things this January, join Nikki Gunn for a night of Mediumship.

This event is described as "a wonderful evening of Mediumship for you, as well as time to spend time with like-minded others, and offer a chance to maybe reconnect with your loved-ones in spirit."

The evening takes place at the Quaker Meeting House from 7pm onwards.

New to Parkrun Event

If you're hoping to get into running in 2025 but aren't sure where to start? Curious to join Parkrun? Join the New to Parkrun event at Rutland Water Parkrun on 11th January at 8.30am to join a lively group of people all taking part in their first parkrun.

The group will meet at Waterside Café at 8.30am and then walk to the start point ready for the briefing at 8.50am where they will put you at ease and tell you everything you need to know.

Stamford Indoor Bowls Open Day

Stamford Indoor Bowls Club is hosting their first open day of 2025 on Sunday 12th January from 10am to 4pm.

The club welcomes newcomers and families to come along and try the club's 6-rink facility in Exeter Gardens.

There will be coaches and experienced bowlers on hand to introduce the game to newcomers. This is open to people of all ages, abilities and disabilities. All tuition, parking and equipment is provided for free. For more information, click here.

Stamford Record Fair

The first Stamford Record Fair of 2025 is taking place on Saturday 11th January in the United Reform Church Hall, Broad Street, Stamford PE9 1PJ.

There will be a lovely mix of friendly traders with lots of music on vinyl, as well of other formats, and tea, coffee and biscuits.

This event is free to attend and will run between 9am and 3pm.

Thursday Night Dinner at Fox and Hounds

The team at The Fox & Hounds in Knossington be hosting their weekly Thursday night special on 9th January, and this week the team are serving up a mouth-watering venison lasagne served with fried garlic potatoes, garlic bread and rocket salad.
