Two arrested as detectives investigate Oakham assault

Two individuals have been arrested following a report of an assault yesterday, Thursday 11 July.
Police were called to High Street shortly before 1.30am on Thursday following a report that two men - aged 19 and 21 - and a 30-year-old woman had been assaulted.
One person has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Police confirmed at 8am today, 12 July, that two arrests have been made.
The team said: "Officers are carrying out further enquiries following a report of assault in Oakham."
The road is back open after nearly a full day closure yesterday.
