As we find ourselves in difficult times it is all to easy to get overwhelmed and feel low.

We must all come together and help each other through this challenging time.

It has been humbling to see community spirits rise all around and human kindness shine.

We must be thankful and look at the positives.

The sun has been shining and people have been out making the most of family time in their safe garden space.

There is no better time to make the most of the garden - crack on with that project you were planning.

Enjoy getting busy growing seeds and veg, planting your summer flowering bulbs, an alpine bowl or rockery, working on a garden border or creating a tranquil place away from it all.

And, after all that you will have earned a relaxing sit down in a new set of garden furniture to enjoy all your hard work.

Our family here at Welland Vale Garden Centre are happy to help in anyway we can.

Although are store is closed, we are offering a free home delivery service - for orders over £20 and within a 20 mile radius - for all you gardening needs.

We are delivering in a safe, contactless way and no signature will be required.

Simply call 01572 822729 between 9am and 12noon Monday to Friday or email [email protected] ( please including a contact number) and tell us what you would like and we will arrange the rest.

You can even tell us where you would like your delivery to be left to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

You can also order some items online, but please bear with us as we are very busy trying to get this all up to date.

Get in touch if you can't find what you are looking for and we will do our best to help.

Be sure to check our Facebook page where we will be posting daily 'What's looking good' products.

During this time, mainly members of the family are working on-site to ensure all our staff are kept safe and well as this is most important to us.

We therefore please ask for you patience and understanding as we work as hard as we can to fulfil your orders and keep our plants at the top quality you expect.

The Burns family and all our team would like to thank all our wonderful customers for your truly valuable and continued support and kindness in the past and the present.

We wish everyone to remain safe, stay sane and keep gardening!
