Bonfire Night is a popular evening for Rutland locals, as Rutland Lions host their annual fireworks display at Rutland Showground.

Now the largest humanitarian service organisation in the world, Lions Club International was founded in 1917 by Melvin Jones, whose guiding principle was, "You won't get very far in this world until you start doing something for somebody else".

Rutland Lions have been running since 1975 and have hosted their annual fireworks displays regularly for many years, hosting not only an incredible display but many local food and drinks suppliers to keep you fed and watered.

This year is no exception!

Gates will open at 4.45pm.

The 1st display is at 6.15pm.

The 2nd display is at 7.00pm.

With tickets from £5 - £22, this event is selling fast so don't miss out!

Finally, Cottesmore Village Hall are hosting their annual Fireworks Display on Sunday the 6th of November 2022.

Tickets range from £1.50 - £8.

Love the magic of a fireworks display? Why not enjoy all three displays?

Residents are encouraged to attend these community events rather than hosting their own for reasons of safety, and to encourage consideration of neighbours and pets, who will find long evenings and weekends of fireworks distressing.
