Thursday Night Dinner at The Fox and Hounds

The Fox and Hounds will be hosting their £12 Thursday special on Thursday 15 February.

This week's dish will be home cooked gammon and chips with a choice of egg or pineapple - and you can enjoy discounted drinks too!

Head down to 6 Somerby Road, Knossington to join the fun.

Cash Bingo Night

Enjoy an evening of fun - and maybe some big winnings - at Market Overton Cricket Club for their Cash Bingo night this Friday, 16 February.

Doors open at 6pm, with eyes down at 7pm.

The team promise that there is "great fun to be had and lots of laughter!"

Fun on the Farm

Half-term Fun on the Farm launched this week, and the fun doesn't stop over the weekends!

Until 24 February, enjoy a range of family friendly events at Rutland Farm Park on Uppingham Road.

Activities include:

  • pony grooming
  • guinea pig cuddles
  • cookie decorating
  • Valentine's treasure hunt
  • crafts

Residents are also welcome to head to Daphne's Tea Room to enjoy a selection of snacks and even a spacial Valentine's Afternoon Tea.

Oakham Castle Annual Seed Swap

Join Root-and-Branch Out and the Sensory Garden volunteers for their annual seed swap at Oakham Castle from 11am until 1pm on Saturday 17 February 2023.

This annual event offers an informative morning and a great way to share gardening knowledge and learn new tips. 

All are welcome to call in, trade seeds and pick up something new to try for the coming growing season.
