Rutland MP Alicia Kearns has declared victory in her battle against gay conversion therapy.
The MP has spoken out against the practice many times and led the campaign in Parliament to secure a ban on the practice since her election in 2019.

To say Uppingham Town Council now has some fresh young blood is perhaps something of an understatement.
To say the town last Thursday saw a by-election victory more decisive and sensational than what the Tories delivered in Hartlepool last week may also be an understatement.
Oakham has a new mayor- Zoe Nealson, who was elected by her fellow town councillors last week.
And being lesbian and disabled, the 39-year-old hopes her example will encourage more people of different backgrounds to enter local politics.
The first osprey chick of the year has arrived at Manton Bay.
The Rutland Osprey Project says the chick was hatched on Saturday.
From this week, as part of the Future Rutland Conversation, Rutland residents can get involved and have their say on Living in Rutland and Council Services.
The Future Rutland Conversation was launched by Rutland County Council in April and is a chance for families, businesses and visitors to the county to comment on a range of important issues. By gathering this feedback from people of all ages and backgrounds, the Council hopes to produce a new shared vision for the county.

Rutland County Council plans to reopen a number of public buildings and visitor attractions next week, including Oakham Castle and the Rutland County Museum, as national COVID restrictions are eased further.
Mike Sandys, Director of Public Health said: "We are all looking ahead to Monday 17 May and taking the next step along the Government's roadmap out of lockdown. If all goes to plan, limits will ease on seeing friends and family, and more businesses can re-open, including hospitality, indoor entertainment and visitor accommodation, as well as indoor adult group sports and exercise classes.

The deadline is looming for comments towards an update to the Uppingham Neighbourhood Plan.
In March, Uppingham Town Council distributed a booklet on the subject around the town. Tomorrow is the deadline for comments.
