Pre-season training has started at Oakham Rugby Football Club (ORFC), and the coaching team are welcoming new and old players back to the field.

ORFC is a popular club with enthusiastic rugby players ranging from 4 to over 74 years old.

The club has just celebrated its 100th year, and continues to be a hub for ruby enthusiasts, players and young residents trying their hand at the game.

The senior and colts coaches have launched pre-season training this week, and have put out a call for players old and new to join them ahead of the 2023/24 rugby season, which lasts approximately from October until April.

They shared on social media: "Pre-season is upon us. Seniors and colts training takes place from 7pm until 8.30pm every Tuesday and Thursday. Whether you are a current player or looking to get involved, come down and start your prep for the 2023/24 season."

"Any new players can contact Tim Andrews our senior head coach for further info and how to get involved in our great little club."
