The Rutland Community Fridge is an Oakham based food salvaging project that has been helping the community for one year. To celebrate their birthday, the team wanted to share their achievements from the last 365 days.

Decanter's Retailer Awards have judged Oakham-based wine merchants, Bat and Bottle, the Best Italian Wine Merchants in the UK.
The judges' comments were: "Lots of competition here. Italian specialist Bat and Bottle delivers a tremendous sense of personality, both in the wines and the way they're sold."
A new tea shop, Teo Teo, has just opened in Mill Street and it certainly is our cup of tea.
Only open for a handful of weeks, Teo Teo is already proving popular, serving flavoured green and black teas, buns, salads, sandwiches, and of course their iconic bubble tea and doughnut selections.

This October half term, the James Richards Circus will be returning to Rutland Showground from Wednesday the 27th until Sunday the 31st of October.
The James Richards Circus is a family orientated, all human circus that has been running for 4 years. The family has roots in showbusiness dating back as far as the 1800's, so they certainly have showbiz in the blood! The JRC team bring their circus to life at over 30 venues a year and the whole family work hard to make the show a spectacle: "As a small circus family each member of the team has several important jobs from selling tickets to making candyfloss or publicising our next venue to making costumes.
