Plans for 60 leisure lodges on a Rutland golf course will come before councillors next week.
The move follows businessman Chris Riddle, who with his father Colin bought the 185 acre Woolfox Golf and Country Club, buying the site last year with the aim of redeveloping it.
A major road in Rutland faces a second bout of disruption.
Part of the A6003 near the village of Caldecott is to close for 26th July until 30th July 2021.

Rutland reported 24 cases of Covid-19 today, putting its 7-day rate at its highest in months,

This week, we all took the next step on the roadmap out of lockdown in England, with most legal restrictions in place to control COVID-19 removed on Monday.
Step four comes at a time when cases are still rising, here and across other parts of the UK. We all have a part to play in making this next step work and keeping our communities safe. I urge everyone to keep on taking care and to remain cautious even as restrictions and legal limits on social contact have been lifted.
