A tree branch fell on a woman's car and closed Lands End Way in Oakham late this afternoon (Fri).
The woman was uninjured and was later taken home by Oakham Police's PC Joe Lloyd who had attended the incident.

Rutland County Museum is holding a fascinating new exhibition all about the history of Rutland's village schools.
Back to School explores village schooling throughout the Victorian period and into the 1920s.

Oakham's firefighters will have their buckets and sponges at the ready from 11am tomorrow (Sat) for a charity car wash.
