Cottesmore Amateur Football Club have welcomed a new coach.
Established in 1941, they are one of the oldest football clubs in the area and, for the last 2 years, have competed in the Rutland Cup to raise money for local charities.
They will also be participating this year, and hope to win against rivals from Oakham United FC.

Prior to this monumental match, the team have welcomed a new manager, John Rawdon, who will oversee the progress of the first team as they dive into the upcoming season.
The team Tweeted: "We are pleased to welcome John Rawdon to the club as first team manager for the 2023-24 season. John brings a strong playing background with Limavady Utd & Boston United and management experience with British Army representative sides. We wish John every success for the future."

They club also has an u13s team and u14s team that play on Sunday morning.
