A "wingding" means a lively party or celebration, and that is exactly what Wing has planned for Sunday 30 August.

The Wingding will bring together a village BBQ, outdoor bar, traditional games and family-friendly activities for an afternoon of food, fun and community spirit at Wing Village Hall.

Visitors can enjoy food from the BBQ or bring their own picnic, settle in for the afternoon and join in with games and activities for both children and adults. The bar will also be open throughout the event.

The event is being organised jointly by Wing Village Hall and St Peter and St Paul's Church, with proceeds shared between the two organisations to help support and maintain these important village amenities.

Everyone is welcome, including visitors from neighbouring villages, so gather your friends and family and come along for a proper summer Wingding.
