The fixed menu has been really successful and a massive thank you to everyone who has visited over the last 2 months. It makes a huge difference to a small company having such a great deal of community support.

Initially we came up with the idea of a low priced menu to help all of you who lost their winter fuel allowance…it meant there was somewhere warm to go, to enjoy a hot meal and maybe make a few new friends. Then we thought that it should be offered to everyone as we are all tightening our belts and budgeting…and we have been for some time.

We do intend to carry on with the fixed 2 or 3 course menu - however, the significant increase in NI and wage rises mean that we have to raise the price a little bit. We were anxious to do this because we know that it might disappoint but it is so important to us to keep our staff team with us. That said, we are committed to keeping the new price of 8.50 (2 courses) and 9.50 (3 courses) for the remainder of the year…and it still represents amazing value for money.
