The Kettle Club Visit to Oakham Castle

The Kettle Club, a one marque motorcycle club dedicated to the 1970's Suzuki GT750 will visit Oakham Castle on Friday 21st July at lunchtime from 12 noon until 2pm.

These motorcycles were made famous by Britain's 1976 and 1977 world champion motorcycle racer Barry Sheene who owned one and raced motorcycles for Suzuki with GT750 engines. The engines are unique being 3 cylinder water cooled two stroke engines of 750cc.

The visit will be part of the club's annual rally based near Grantham and on Friday 21st July the club will ride out en masse visiting landmarks in Rutland and Leicestershire stopping at Oakham Castle (in the grounds car park) for lunch. Come and see lots of these now 50 year old unique motorcycles.
