Our first major ensemble concert of the term features the School's top orchestras and ensembles. An exciting programme spotlights student soloists in concerti by Shostakovich and Vivaldi, and the Symphony Orchestra explores the lyrical music of Dvoák in the first movement of his Symphony No. 8. The Concert Band opens the programme with a selection of new swing pieces, with the Big Band finishing the concert with a collection of popular hits.
